Are you looking to buy TBS Lucid 8S 4in1 ESC in Australia?

The TBS Lucid flight stack is the latest in product engineering at TBS. Built for racing and freestyle applications and developed to cater to the needs of both seasoned pilots and enthusiastic newcomers.

Featuring an 8 layer high current density board with twice the market average on-board capacitance, the ESC is built to withstand the harshest punishment of everyday FPV flying while delivering buttery-smooth flight characteristics paired with face-melting acceleration. By focusing on thermal dissipation from the ground up, the flight stack achieves excellent power to weight density without the need of heavy heat sinks.

A close collaboration with AM32 allowed us to squeeze the last bit of performance without breaking the bank.

Nothing but problems

I planned to use this on a 7" quad to test 6-8s li ion packs at high discharge, but i never got it to fly properly. At first the quad flew but poorly, which led to me trying to tune it out but i made no progress, then i think one of the motor outputs stopped working properly because it would flip out when i armed it, then while checking motor layout on the bench it blew a brand new motor and blew the respective mosfet on that motor output. I swapped a 45A speedybee into the quad and its never flown this good

I was keen to use this ESC for its impressive specs but alas

This could all just be user error, but ive never had this many problems with an ESC before so i dont know. To my knowledge i didnt make any mistakes that would have caused this

Regardless PHASER FPV is a good place to shop 👍
