Comprising an efficient dual-drive system, the E3D Hemera HotEnd extruder uses a stainless-steel drive train, while each hobb is CNC-cut individually to facilitate a round-bottomed root. This prevents filament debris from getting wedged into the drive gear, and actually encourages a self-cleaning process as most debris simply falls off the teeth.
