On the launch day 29th November, E3D changed the name to E3D Hemera instead of E3D Hermes
Unfortunately, less than 24 hours before launch, they received a legal challenge from a company much larger than them, and with significantly more legal resources. They objected to naming the product after a Greek god from the Mycenaean era, as they felt the name belongs to them.
Therefore they undergo a rapid unscheduled rebranding, and settled on Hemera, a somewhat less fashionable Greek god, yet still in keeping with their other mythological names, and our first female one too.
If you are after the E3D Hemera Hotend In Australia, make sure you check Phaser FPV out, we have all the products listed here.
