What to consider when choosing a 7-inch drone propeller

First of all (and apologies if this is painfully obvious), longer propellers need longer arms. Make sure your kit is big enough to have four 7-inch props! Also, your motors must be 2507 or bigger – any smaller and they won’t be able to generate enough torque, resulting in a very unsmooth and un-pleasurable flying experience.

Remember that a smaller pitch and diameter provides more stability, whereas a bigger pitch and diameter will give you faster speeds. Carbon fibre props equal smoother flying, but plastic is much more durable.
