Shipping & Delivery
Same-day dispatch before 1pm, live carrier rates minus a loyalty discount, and a straight answer for every parcel problem. Here's exactly how your order travels.
Same-day dispatch, every day since 2014
Order before 1pm AEST on a business day and your order ships the same day from our Somersby warehouse on the NSW Central Coast. After 1pm, weekends and NSW public holidays, it ships the next business day.
95% of express parcels arrive next business day. We've shipped every single day since 2014.
What shipping costs
Shipping is quoted live at checkout — you pay what we pay our carriers, minus a loyalty discount that grows with your order:
| Order value | Shipping discount |
|---|---|
| Over $99 | −$5 |
| Over $150 | −$8 |
| Over $250 | −$12 |
| Over $400 | −$15 |
| Over $1,000 | −$20 |
| Over $2,000 | −$50 |
The discount is applied automatically at checkout as a discount on your order total — you'll see it as “Shipping Discount” in your cart summary, offsetting what you pay for shipping.
Why we don't do “free” shipping
“Free” shipping is never free — it's baked into every product's price. Stores that offer it charge everyone a little more so that the occasional expensive parcel (usually WA, NT and rural) is paid for by everyone else's orders.
We do it differently, and we think more honestly:
- You see our real carrier rates at checkout — you pay what we pay, never marked up.
- Every customer gets the same discount off those rates, based on order size — city or bush, same dollars off.
- If you're close to us, that often beats free shipping: an east-coast parcel can cost less than your discount, so shipping lands near zero — without a cent of freight hidden in our product prices.
- If you're remote, the same discount genuinely subsidises your shipping instead of a “free shipping” store quietly charging you more for every product to cover it.
On larger orders the discount often covers standard shipping entirely — that's free shipping, earned honestly. And our product prices stay sharp for everyone, because they don't carry anyone's freight.
How long it takes (from dispatch, business days)
| Destination | Standard | Express* |
|---|---|---|
| Sydney | 2 | 1 |
| Melbourne | 4 | 1 |
| Brisbane | 4 | 1 |
| Adelaide | 5 | 1 |
| Perth | 6 | 2 |
| Tasmania | 6 | 1–2 |
*Within the Australia Post Express network. Outside it, or for battery orders, allow 2–5 extra days. These are carrier estimates, not guarantees — if your order is urgent, choose Express and order before 1pm.
Sydney same-day courier: GO Logistics, $16.95 to Sydney and greater Sydney (max 25kg). Order before 9am for same-day delivery in covered areas; Wollongong is usually next-day, Newcastle overnight.
Signature, safe drop & missed deliveries
Every parcel ships signature on delivery by default — that's what keeps a lost parcel our problem instead of yours.
Want it left at the door instead? You hold the switch
Why we can't flick that switch for you: when Safe Drop comes from your AusPost account, AusPost records it as your instruction — that's what lets the driver leave a signature-required parcel. A parcel delivered to your Safe Drop instruction is your responsibility from that point; if signature was required and something still goes wrong, that's ours to fix.
Keep missing the driver? Two free AusPost options beat door-drops for security: divert parcels to a 24/7 Parcel Locker or to Parcel Collect at your local post office — set either as your delivery preference in the AusPost app. Aramex delivery instead? Reply to your shipping email and we'll add your delivery instructions to the consignment (leave-at-door is at your risk).
Batteries & dangerous goods [DG]
Products with [DG] in the title (LiPo batteries and some chemicals) travel by road only — it's the law, not a choice:
- Add 1–2 business days for capital cities, longer for rural areas
- No Express or air upgrade is possible on battery orders
- Tracking may show “Dangerous Goods declaration was not signed” — that's normal
- Batteries can't ship overseas, full stop
Full detail (including battery limits and why): see our Battery Safety & DG Shipping guide. Carts containing [DG] items include a quick acknowledgement tick at checkout.
Untracked letter post (small items)
For small, cheap items we offer untracked letter post. It's cheap because there's no tracking — which means no cover if it goes missing. Choose it only if you accept that risk; tracked options are always available. If a letter-post item hasn't arrived, contact us before opening a payment dispute — disputes lodged without letting us investigate may mean we can only offer tracked shipping on your future orders.
If your parcel goes missing
Don't ring Australia Post — that's our job.
Parcel arrived opened, damaged or with items missing? Photograph the packaging and contents before throwing anything away and send them to us with a stat dec — we'll replace or refund without making you wait for the carrier's verdict, and we'll take it up with the carrier ourselves.
International orders
We ship worldwide — tracked or express services only.
- No batteries or dangerous goods overseas (carrier law, no exceptions)
- Duties, taxes and customs charges are yours — we ship DDU and prices for export orders exclude Australian GST
- Customs or quarantine delays are outside our control
- If an international parcel stops scanning, we lodge the investigation; unresolved after 4 weeks, we resend or refund
- Change-of-mind returns aren't offered on international orders; faults are handled with photo/video evidence first — see Returns & Warranty
- International carts include a short acknowledgement of these terms at checkout
Honestly: if a local dealer stocks what you need, buying locally will usually be cheaper and easier for you. We're here when they don't.
When we reply
We aim to reply within 1 business day or less (Mon–Fri, Sydney time), and delivery problems get chased with the carrier daily. During sale periods, staff illness, or when we're waiting on suppliers or manufacturers, it can occasionally take longer — we'll always tell you where things are up to.
