What was reported
No paperwork. Best recollection: around 2022 our tech had trouble getting it set up for a customer, swapped them into a different drone, and parked this one. Exact fault unknown, possibly a setup issue or FC/receiver/VTX trouble.
Our take
Looks never flown, brand-new condition, full accessory kit bagged (Ethix S5 props, strap, TPU spares, receiver lead, VTX channel card, screws). Not powered up or tested by us. PNP: bring your own receiver.
Repair hint
Fit a receiver (SBUS on UART1 by default; ELRS/Crossfire need a quick Betaflight change), then bench test props-off.

Are you looking to buy LUCKY DIP · Diatone Roma F5 V2 4S Analog PNP (GPS): Untested Return, Looks Unflown in Australia?
LUCKY DIP: customer return, sold as-is. No returns, no warranty.
This listing is for one returned Diatone Roma F5 V2 5" freestyle quad (4S, analog, PNP with GPS). It came back to us, then has sat on the shelf since about 2022. We could pay to freight it back to the overseas supplier, but we'd rather it went to someone who'll use it.
The good news: it looks never flown, in brand-new condition, with the full accessory kit still bagged. Anyone handy with Betaflight could score big here.
How the price works: it starts at $280 and drops every night at midnight for 30 days, down to a $120 floor. The floor price only lasts 24 hours. If nobody grabs it, the price goes back up to $280 and the 30-day countdown starts again. Wait too long and you could miss it, or have to wait another month.
What we know
The paperwork has long gone, but our best recollection is this: around 2022 our tech was setting this quad up for a customer and ran into trouble getting it working. Rather than keep the customer waiting, he swapped them into a different drone, and this one got parked. So there may be a setup or hardware issue (FC, receiver wiring or VTX), or it may just have needed more time on the bench than anyone had that day.
Our take
- Condition: no flight marks, scuffs or prop strikes that we can see. The motors, frame and arms look new.
- In the box: the quad, a set of Ethix S5 props (light grey), a Diatone battery strap, a spare TPU parts bag, the receiver lead and wiring card, the VTX channel card, and a spare screw kit.
- Untested: we haven't powered it up, so assume there could be a fault until you've bench-tested it.
- PNP: it has no receiver. You'll need to fit your own. It's set to SBUS on UART1 by default, and ELRS or Crossfire work with a quick Betaflight change.
