What was reported
Wouldn’t bind/arm out of the box; Betaflight showed no gyro, before and after a reflash by a local drone shop.
Our take
Our tech confirmed the gyro is defective (Oct 2022). Never flown, partly disassembled. A replacement 2-3S whoop AIO brings it back; the HDZero camera/VTX, motors and frame are the value.
Repair hint
Replace the AIO (gyro dead); check all parts/screws are present.

Are you looking to buy LUCKY DIP · Happymodel Mobula7 HDZero 2-3S 75mm (ELRS): Faulty Gyro, Never Flown, Sold As-Is in Australia?
LUCKY DIP: faulty customer return, sold as-is. No returns, no warranty.
This listing is for one returned Happymodel Mobula7 HDZero 2-3S 75mm brushless micro whoop, BNF ELRS. It came back to us in October 2022, was never flown, and has been on the shelf since. It's partly disassembled from diagnosis.
How the price works: it starts at $130 and drops every night at midnight for 30 days, down to a $50 floor. The floor price only lasts 24 hours. If nobody grabs it, the price goes back up to $130 and the 30-day countdown starts again. Wait too long and you could miss it, or have to wait another month.
About the photos: these are photos of a new one, for reference only. They don’t show this unit or its condition. Want photos of the actual item? Email us at hello@phaserfpv.com.au and we’ll send some.
What was reported
- It wouldn't bind or arm straight out of the box.
- Betaflight showed no gyro detected, both before and after a firmware reflash done by a local drone shop.
- Our tech confirmed the gyro is defective.
Our take
- The gyro (or the AIO it's on) is faulty, so it can't fly as it is.
- Could score: fit a replacement 2-3S whoop AIO and you've got a never-flown HDZero Mobula7. The HDZero camera and VTX, motors and frame are the valuable parts.
- Worst case: an HDZero parts kit.
- It's partly taken apart, so check that all screws and parts are there before you start.
