What was reported
Heated to 200°C for ~20 seconds on first use, then stopped heating. Thermistor still reads correctly.
Our take
Our tech confirmed the heater core won’t heat (reads OK on a multimeter). Otherwise near-new: fit a replacement Rapido ceramic core, or use for spares.

This listing is for one returned Phaetus Rapido Plus 350°C high-flow hotend. It came back to us in December 2023 after a single heat-up and has been on the shelf since. Rather than freight it back to the supplier overseas, we're letting a tinkerer have it cheap.
How the price works: it starts at $45 and drops every night at midnight for 30 days, down to a $15 floor. The floor price only lasts 24 hours. If nobody grabs it, the price goes back up to $45 and the 30-day countdown starts again. Wait too long and you could miss it, or have to wait another month.
What was reported
- Installed on a Voron Stealthburner, it heated to 200°C for about 20 seconds, then stopped heating completely.
- The thermistor kept reading correctly, and the printer's board was fine (the old hotend worked again).
- Our tech confirmed it: it reads OK on a multimeter but the heater core won't heat up no matter what.
Our take
- Basically a new hotend with a dead ceramic heater core. Everything else saw one 20-second heat cycle.
- Could score: fit a replacement Rapido ceramic heating core and you've got a near-new Rapido Plus for a fraction of the price.
- Worst case: spares for another Rapido: heatsink, heatbreak, nozzle, fittings and wiring.
