What was reported
Brand new: the flight controller appeared faulty and 2 motors wouldn’t work.
Our take
Treat the AIO as dead, and one motor is now missing. The value is the RunCam HDZero Nano Lite camera, frame, ducts, canopy, 3 motors and the carry case. A replacement Sub250 Redfox A1 F4 AIO (digital, no-VTX version) plus one motor could bring it back.
Repair hint
Fit a Sub250 Redfox A1 F4 AIO (digital / no-VTX version) and one replacement motor.

Are you looking to buy LUCKY DIP · Sub250 Whoopfly16 HDZero 1S (ELRS): DOA FC, 1 Motor Missing, Sold As-Is in Australia?
LUCKY DIP: faulty customer return, sold as-is. No returns, no warranty.
This listing is for one returned Sub250 Whoopfly16 ultra-light HDZero 1S tiny whoop (ELRS). It came back to us in October 2024 and has been sitting on the returns shelf since. We could pay to freight it back to the overseas supplier, but we'd rather it went to a builder.
How the price works: it starts at $160 and drops every night at midnight for 30 days, down to a $50 floor. The floor price only lasts 24 hours. If nobody grabs it, the price goes back up to $160 and the 30-day countdown starts again. Wait too long and you could miss it, or have to wait another month.
About the photos: the stock photos are of a new one, for reference only. They don’t show this unit or its condition. The other photos show the actual returned unit. Want more photos of it? Email us at hello@phaserfpv.com.au and we’ll send some.
What was reported
- Brand new: the flight controller appeared faulty and 2 motors wouldn't work.
Our take
Treat the AIO flight controller as dead. Also note that one motor is missing from the frame, so you'll need to supply a motor too.
- The value is in the HDZero gear: the RunCam HDZero Nano Lite camera, frame, ducts with bumpers, canopy and the 3 remaining motors, in its carry case.
- Could score: fit a replacement Sub250 Redfox A1 F4 AIO (the digital version without VTX, which we stock) and one motor, and you've got an HDZero whoop for a lot less than new.
- Worst case: an HDZero parts kit.
