What was reported
Worked at first, then the video feed and OSD turned completely pink with lines across the picture. Stick inputs still behaved normally when flown line-of-sight.
Our take
Our tech fitted new parts and still couldn’t get a clean picture (“some ghosts in the system”), so assume the video side is faulty, possibly more than one part. Comes with a spare video board, a 300mAh 1S battery and spare Azi props. Could just be a bad camera or cable; worst case it’s a parts whoop.
Repair hint
Try a known-good camera and check the video cable first; then suspect the AIO video circuit.

Are you looking to buy LUCKY DIP · NewBeeDrone Hummingbird V3 1S Whoop (ELRS): Pink Video Fault, Sold As-Is [DG] in Australia?
LUCKY DIP: faulty customer return, sold as-is. No returns, no warranty.
This listing is for one returned NewBeeDrone Hummingbird V3 1.2" (31mm) 1S whoop, BNF ELRS. It came back to us in July 2024, and our tech spent real bench time on it before it was shelved. We could pay to freight it back to the overseas supplier, but we'd rather it went to someone who enjoys a puzzle.
How the price works: it starts at $80 and drops every night at midnight for 30 days, down to a $25 floor. The floor price only lasts 24 hours. If nobody grabs it, the price goes back up to $80 and the 30-day countdown starts again. Wait too long and you could miss it, or have to wait another month.
What was reported
- It worked at first, then the video feed and OSD turned completely pink, with lines across the picture.
- Flying line-of-sight, all stick inputs still behaved normally, so the flight side seemed fine.
Our take
Our tech fitted new parts and still couldn't get a clean picture. His words were "some ghosts in the system". So assume the video side (camera, VTX or AIO video circuit) is faulty, and possibly more than one part.
- In the box: the whoop with its canopy off, a spare video board (on its own lead), a NewBeeDrone Nitro Nectar Gold 300mAh 1S battery, and a spare bag of Azi 40mm tri-blade props.
- Could score: it may just be a bad camera or video cable. Swap in a known-good camera and it could be flying again.
- Worst case: a parts whoop: frame, motors, battery, props and ELRS AIO.
Specs (when working)

- AIO: HM3 V3 (Rev D) with built-in ELRS 2.4GHz receiver
