What was reported
In a RadioMaster Pocket’s nano bay it wouldn’t power up reliably (often no LED, radio searching then shutting down). Sometimes started on USB power and stayed on once running.
Our take
Our tech confirmed the radio worked fine with another module, so the Tracer module is the likely fault, probably its power input or boot from the bay. A TBS Agent reflash is worth a try. TX module only, no receiver.
Repair hint
Reflash via TBS Agent; check power from the module bay.

Are you looking to buy LUCKY DIP · TBS Tracer Nano TX Module (2.4GHz): Won’t Power Up Reliably, Sold As-Is in Australia?
LUCKY DIP: faulty customer return, sold as-is. No returns, no warranty.
This listing is for one returned TBS Tracer Nano TX module (2.4GHz), the transmitter module from a Tracer Nano TX Starter Set. It's the TX module only, with no receiver. It came back to us in April 2026. The customer was sent a brand-new replacement, and this one has been on the shelf since.
How the price works: it starts at $70 and drops every night at midnight for 30 days, down to a $20 floor. The floor price only lasts 24 hours. If nobody grabs it, the price goes back up to $70 and the 30-day countdown starts again. Wait too long and you could miss it, or have to wait another month.
About the photos: these are photos of a new one, for reference only. They don’t show this unit or its condition. Want photos of the actual item? Email us at hello@phaserfpv.com.au and we’ll send some.
What was reported
- Fitted to a RadioMaster Pocket's nano module bay, the module wouldn't power up reliably. Often no LED, and the radio kept searching for it and then shut down.
- It connected from the radio menu only once. It would sometimes start if powered over USB, and once running it stayed on.
Our take
Our tech tested the customer's radio with another module and it ran fine for an hour, so he was "fairly certain" the Tracer module is the faulty part. The symptoms point to the module's power input or boot circuit from the module bay.
- Could score: a firmware reflash via TBS Agent, or powering it differently, may get it going. Some modules come good after a full update.
- Worst case: a parts or spare module.
