Are you looking to buy Polymaker PolyWood in Australia?

The Specialty family provides unique filaments from Polymaker to unlock new 3D printing applications. PolyWood™ is a wood mimic filament without actual wood powder, which removes all risks of nozzle clogs. PolyWood™ is made entirely with PLA using a special foaming technology. It exhibits the same density and appearance as wood.

NOTE: DO NOT RESPOOL THIS FILAMENT.
Pre-foamed PLA filaments can be quite stiff and more brittle than regular PLA so it is recommended to take extra care and make sure your filament guide system is smooth and with minimal bends.”

Product Features

  • Jam Free technology improves the heat stability of Polymaker’s PLA filaments with softening temperatures over 140 °C.
  • Stabilized Foaming™ technology is used to produce foamed filaments, whose foam structure can survive the printing process and be inherited by the printed parts.
  • Light Weight material coming in at 35-40% lighter tthan regular PLA.

Fantastic wood filament

It's not abrasive, so you can print on a brass nozzle. It sands almost like wood but the surface is harder than wood. Staining and finishing using traditional wood methods turn out really well. This filament absorbs wood staining like real timber!
