Sunlu ASA is a new ASA Filament available to Australia and is an impact modified resin composed of acrylonitrile, styrene and acrylic rubber.  It can be a good alternative to ABS as it does not warp as much.

Sunlu is the company behind our favourite Filament Dryer. For best print results please always dry your filament even when its sealed from the factory.

 It also has high dimensional stability and good chemical resistance, making it ideal for prototyping, outdoor applications and the automotive industry.

Not good with heat

Printed a new fan shroud for my extruder and after about 15hrs printing other ASA parts I noticed it drooping a little, took it off and the side that faces the hot block had all bubbled and deformed. I then used prusa ASA filament and not problems so far. In fairness I did acetone smooth the sunlu filament and not the prusa so that could be the difference.
