Sunlu Marble PLA Filament 1.75mm 1kg

I used the Sunlu Marble PLA filament for the first time and I was so happy with. I printed a moss pole for my indoor plants and love how it turned out!

Used this for some Roman Coliseum for a friends project. He enjoyed them very much!! Looks exactly like marble (as accurate at 3d printing material can get to)

This is a great filament for my 3D printer. It is wound onto the spool so that it doesn’t snag and it fits through my bowden tube and into my extruder without issue. It produces a smooth finish when paired with the Sunlu Filament dryer. Great filament for the cost.

Prints very well, and has a pretty nice look to it.One star off for the worst spooling I've ever seen. I had to carefully unspool and respool a good amount. But since it didn't mess up my first print, I'm still content with the quality.

I purchased this for a friend as a gift. He used it in his CR-6SE printer and really likes it. He likes to print alot of character busts and figures. This does provide a pretty nice stone look.

Amazing filament! Printed a gargoyle as a test and it came out amazingly! Would recommend and can’t wait to come up with a larger print for this!

This SUNLU Marble PLA 3D Printer Filament 1.75mm, PLA Filament for 3D Printers and 3D Pens,1kg per Spool is great filament. It works well in the FlashForge Adventurer 3 and has good adhesion. The end result is smooth and beautiful. Overall, a great filament.

I use a marble style filament pretty frequently - I like the interest/texture that it adds to basic prints while still being a neutral color that doesn't distract from the design. I usually use the Ziro 2.85 filament (which I definitely recommend) but I needed a 1.75 for one of my projects and this was available. I like it, it provides the same speckled texture and smooth finish. As with all the specialty filaments I've used, I find it helpful to stick it in the dehydrator after the first few prints, because the results tend to come out a lot better if the filament stays dry and hard.

Brand new roll just out of the packaging. Loaded up it and after 8 hours the nozzle was completely jammed. Returning for a refund. In their defense, this is the 2nd brand of marble filament that has done this to me. I think its just a difficult blend to get right in general and will be avoiding the 'marble look' completely for now on :/

I've done a few prints now and all came out fine I did have one Jam last night but it was on the 4th to 5th print I've done. So I don't think it was anything major but just a hiccup (It's also been super humid the last 2 days so I again don't think it was the filament issue).The only thing I don't like is the marble looks more cookies and cream icecream then marble. I do have to raise the temp a few degrees for PLA but it's still within range printed on the spool so that's not something I'm really bothered by.

It worked great in my cheap MP Mini Delta printer and has given me no problems at all.Some people say it looks more like granite, though if you imagine you're looking at a scaled-down version of a much larger item then I think it's a reasonable representation of the color and pattern of a marble statue, at least in the example of the cat.It has a bluish cast to the base material, with small black flakes embedded in it. The black flakes don't seem to melt (at 200C anyway) so there's theoretically some risk they could build up or you get unlucky and get a really big piece of it, but it seems to flow just fine without any issues so far.Appears perhaps slightly less reflective than regular PLA, but that may just be that the reflections off the off-white surface are less noticeable. It has an acceptably stone-like appearance. It's non-flourescent at 365nm.Seems to be good quality filament. A nice material and a more interesting look than bright plain PLA.

We're fairly new to 3D printing and had a lot of issues with this stuff in our Prusa Mini with a .4 nozzle. Following the specifications on the back of the package was a disaster. I surfed the forums trying to troubleshoot it and kind of found a solution that works for my printer. I tried a lot of different settings, cleaned a lot of stringy mess, time and again, but what worked *best* for my printer was slowing the print speed by 20% and increasing my flow up to 104. Then I jacked the heat up and let her run with it. But that leaves the object a little rough, but it did print.Not really impressed though. Many, many hours of printing and a lot of PLA gone to waste.I probably wouldn't choose this brand again - there are other brands that work better with my printer.

I had been using Sunlu filaments for awhile. This is the result of Marble filament I recently purchased. It came out pretty good, the surface looked awesome. It sticked well on hot bed, working well on the temperature suggested. Will using this for some of my future projects. Would recommended for 3D community’s friends.

This is great - the random marble 'particles' in it hide a lot of layer imperfections so turns out really nice.

First time buying a 3D printer using this with the 3D printer was a breeze!!

I have had great success with the SUNLU filament on the SCULPTO PRO 3D printer and the marble is my favorite color. It is coiled evenly on the spool which makes feeding into the machine less likely to jam. Compared to other brands this one works really well with this machine without getting stuck in the filament gear. I will be buying more when this one is used up.

Right away, I can say I had zero issues with this filament, it printed amazingly well out of the box with no dialing in on my Prusa MK3s. Bed adhesion is perfect on my PEI sheet and the outstanding layer adhesion really surprised me. I have used a lot more expensive marble filament before and to be honest I do not see any difference in quality and overall look. If you're looking for affordable, great quality marble filament, look no further, this stuff is tremendous.

This filament printed well. No clogs or issues. Very clean print and it looks great.

Filament is packaged well and the range of temps /filament type is nice however so far have not been able to get a good print with the filament. Seems to underextrude at regular pla temps. I've tried from 195°-210° and haven't had consistent extrusion. May try switching to a larger nozzle. Also doesn't really look like actual marble more like recycled plastic however it's a cool look nonetheless.

My favorite sunlu product

This is one of the easiest to print filaments that I used so far. It has excellent layer adhesion, and a beautiful pigment. The spool comes in a nice thick vac-bag that was resealable and I've found zero bubbles as well as no signs of moisture. I am 1/4 of the way through the spool and think I will order one more because the stuff look so real I can't stop thinking of things to print in it.

Would constantly clog 12+ hrs into a print. End up throwing half a spool.

The models print out with a really nice color to them. I like this and will make more with it.

This is the third brand of PLA filament I’ve used with my Ender 3 pro printer. In terms of print accuracy, I’d say it’s about on a par with Polymaker and Inland, except that supports printed with Sunlu seem a little more brittle, and thus more easy to remove supports. I have been printing with a bed temperature of 65° and an extruder temperature of 220° with good results and strong bed adhesion. I got this marble version on a whim, but I am very pleased with the results. I probably will buy this brand again.EDIT: I wrote the above approximately 50% of the way through the spool. In the latter half, though, I started to get frequent and pretty predictable nozzle clogs, forcing me to stop prints midway to clean it out, and ruining a couple of prints when I didn’t notice the problem quickly enough to salvage it. So I knocked a star off the review. Not sure what I think about this stuff anymore, it looks great when it works but the nozzle clogging problem is a real pain.

Took a little bit to find the sweet spot on this material. Ended up using it at 230, which is the upper end of its printed temperature range. After dialing it in, it worked very well. Looks neat with the dark speckles.
