Awesome product. You get what you expect

Ok, my apologies. I take it all back about this filament (sunlu rainbow #1) for some reason my slicers settings had the flow rate for that filament to almost double to what it should be. Printing fine now. Like I said previously, the colours are really quite nice. Feel free to remove that 1 and 3 star review. I can't see where to do that.

So I'll take back that it's the worse filament. I don't know what was going on with the green but I he other colours seem to be fine. Green still seems to be over-extruding but the deeper it gets the better it seems to be.

Unfortunately, this is the worst performing filament I've ever used. I'm not sure if it's from a dud batch or something but as soon as I hit the green colour, It starts to skip layers and seems to under extrude then over extrude. All the other colours are fine and look great, but there is something wrong with the green. I will not be buying sunlu again.

This is a Christmas present, so not able to write a review of the product, but received excellent service from the company and a speedy delivery!

Good filament for a good price. Vacuum sealed well, this is important if you do not plan on using it for a while.

This is a good quality PLA filament and is comparable to overture brand that I had previously used. My purchase was for the rainbow color and just want to reiterate that it looks great with larger prints but you will not see a gradient if printing little items. Beside that, it works great and exactly as expected and arrived vacuum sealed.

Well packaged in sealed bag with desecant packet. First print came out excelant. Standard PLA temperatures. Stuck well to glass bed and looks very smooth. Need to print something bigger to get the "rainbow" effect.

The change of color is fast and you can see them un ur prints

On my tuned ender 5 this filament worked fine. I was average. Although the rate of color change through the spool is gradual.

Have printed a few things with this filament. Something i do like is the silk look after the print is finished. the colors are fairly vivid after printing, and the thickness is consistent enough my printer didn't have any issues (creality 10spro)Something im not sure about tho is the way the colors grade across the length. If your doing a small print it will likely be only a single color rather than multiple, vs if your doing something large then you will see the colors grade from one to another across the whole print.Will do some more testing to see just how things look, tho i can say on your printing make sure the orientation is lined up with how you want the colors grading across. If you do a wide but low piece the colors will grade from bottom up, but that same piece said up and printed vertically will have the colors grade from side to side. so keep that in mind.

I’m not sure how to review this filament. It is beautiful. It makes a great product. However, my 3D printer could not handle it. Make sure you are set up to handle SILK filament or you are in for a huge frustrating mess.

Product works well. Very little problem with usage. Maintains consistent thickness and texture with consistent temperature.

The picture is misleading...it only changes from yellow, orange, and green. The picture looks as if the full rainbow is on the filament roll, when it is actually missing blue, purple, and red

Great filament, love the way Silk PLA looks, it does take a while to change colors, so for larger prints, it’s fine, but smaller prints, I feel it won’t change as quick.This design above was printed on an Ender 3 Pro, with 220C/60C.Overall, I’ll likely purchase this again when I run out.

We absolutely love printing with silk filaments and this one does not disappoint. Took it straight out of the box and it printed well without much dialing in required. The final product has a really nice shine to it. Will definitely order a few more of these.

very very fragile and cheap

Great filament for the price. Hard to find anything cheaper than $20. Title is a little “misleading”. While the spool does come vacuum sealed, it is not “no tangling” or “no clogging”. At some point, your nozzle will clog, it doesn’t matter if you use $20 filament or $100 filament. That’s just part of printing unfortunately. Clean or change out the nozzle and carry on. Using this on my ender 3 and has worked fairly well so far. As many may know, PLA is “biodegradable”. I’m not exactly a tree hugger but this filament does give you a tiny bit of piece of mind compared to abs or petg. Side note, I got the white filament but I really want to try the silk rainbow mix, looks very cool.

I honestly didn't expect much from one of these cheap rolls but surprisingly its actually ok. But you can definitely spend more money and get a better product. Pro: cost; its cheap. Also packed in vacuum bag to keep moisture out. Con: Its wound sloppily. Hasnt resulted in any issue yet for me but its not desirable. Also listing says +/- .02mm but box says .03 . I measured with calipers and most I found out was .03 which is fine in my book. Printed at 200C with 50C bed and prints just like any other roll of filament. Thought Id have to mess with retraction settings but haven't had any stringing using defaults on CHEP profile in Cura. All in all, totally acceptable, Im happy

Already have this running in the printer with the same settings from the last name brand spool of PLA that I was using and it’s working great so far. The quality seems to be on par with the brand name that I had been using, only this sells for half the price. Great deal
