What does Functional / Non Functional Parts Mean?

This relates to printed parts for 2.4 & Trident. 0.1 comes with all printed parts so its not applicable.

The functional parts give you all the parts required to do your first print, however some people have been underwhelmed after buying the functional parts and putting it together.

-Functional Parts will not give you an enclosed ready printer for printing ABS
-Functional Parts do not include any skirting or acrylic panel mounting.

The idea is that you could print these in PLA as they are external once you have your printer runing and then in other materials later once you have an enclosure.

You may decide that you would like to buy Functional & NON Functional parts before you start building your Kit if this does not sound ideal.

Excellent parts to build a Voron

My older printers were both too slow and could not print at the same quality as Phaser so these printed parts were invaluable for getting my Voron up and running quickly.

Quality Prints!

Print quality as expected.

Print quality was mostly excellent but didn''t receive what I ordered.

Print quality of parts from phaser has been excellent in the past which is why I come back for parts I can''t print myself.
However, this order seemed to be the exception to the rule.
I have 2 issues with this order.
First, the majority of the parts were of the usual excellent quality. There were a couple that had obvious layer shifts. Didn''t effect usability but its a defect and really shouldn''t have ended up in the customers hands.
Second, I ordered a SB and CW2 toolhead and instead received AB and CW1 with a SB front plate.
I also received 2 right hand mounting brackets for the Octopus instead of a left and a right.
To their credit however they supplied me with duplicate parts in case I was using Hall sensors.
I should have told Phaser I was building a kit from formbot. It would probably have made their job a bit easier in terms of what parts I needed printed.
This is my first Voron 2.4 build and I was a bit ignorant as regards the variability of parts that could be used in a Voron build, which effects the printed parts required.
