What does the Radiomaster TX16S offer?
For the uninitiated, Radiomaster’s TX16S is essentially an upgraded version of the popular Jumper T16 Pro, and an alternative choice to the Frsky Taranis. The TX16S, however, can be used with older Frsky and Spektrum protocols
Don’t be daunted by the baffling amount of switches, buttons and knobs on this thing – you don’t have to use them all, but they sure come in handy if you’re going to be flying other UAV’s down the line! Powered by two 18650 Li-ion batteries, you might be pleased to learn the Radiomaster TX16S is fully compatible with TBS Crossfire, Frsky R9M and more.
As a multi-protocol radio, the TX16S can bind to numerous receivers of various protocols and brands, which is a remarkably convenient feature. It also boasts a large LCD touch screen for very bright picture and ease of use.
As for the TX12, this is currently the most compact OpenTX compatible radio on the market, without sacrificing the “big radio feel”. With built-in USB charging and a JR-compatible module bay for TBS Crossfire and/or Tracer, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a more versatile radio of this size in the FPV drone world.
