PolyCast™ is a filament specifically designed to produce investment patterns which burn away Ash-Free™ for quick design iteration, metal prototyping and unique one-off castings. 3D printing with PolyCast™ significantly cuts down both the cost and lead time by eliminating the tooling process.

Note: PolyCast™ is sensitive to moisture. We recommend that PolyCast™ be printed with the PolyBox™ and to keep the filament at dry conditions (relative humidity of 15% or less) at all times to maintain the best printing and casting results.

Ash-Free™ Burnout - PolyCast™ features Ash-free™ technology which enables patterns to burn off cleanly without any residue, enabling defect-free metal parts. PolyCast™ typically leaves an ash residue of 0.003% when burnt out at temperatures >600˚C.
Low Cost - PolyCast™ is a cost-effective solution, with a lower cost compared to other 3D printing technologies (e.g. SLA/SLS/MJP/Binder Jetting).
